Prior to the Global Off-Grid Solar Forum and Expo in Nairobi next week, the Access to Energy Institute (A2EI) is pleased to announce its progress in data collection, expansion of its data team, and industry-wide cooperation.

The A2EI is installing a wide range of smart sensor solutions that measure anything from fuel generators to productive use appliances and e-cooking devices. The data is made available to the entire off-grid solar sector and other interested parties – and the A2EI is inviting all stakeholders to discuss learnings, as well as to provide input regarding their further data needs.
