Press release: Global LEAP Off-Grid Cold Chain Challenge | Nominations Close May 25

The Global LEAP Off-Grid Cold-Chain Challenge is a global competition to identify the most energy-efficient, sustainable, and affordable technologies that can meet the diverse cold storage requirements for fresh fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meat, and fish in off-grid areas. The Challenge is open to organizations that have deployed – or plan to deploy – off-grid walk-in cold storage containers in the following priority countries: Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Uganda, and Zambia. Ten (10) Stage 1 Finalists will receive a cash prize of £10, 000 each and up to four (4) Stage 2 category Winners will receive innovation prizes of £37,500.
