ARE and ADEME are collaborating on three projects to advance the transition to renewable energy in sub-Saharan Africa.

The projects include a market study on equipment for productive uses powered by renewable energies in Cameroon, Benin and Madagascar, an awareness-raising campaign on the benefits of equipment for productive uses powered by renewable energies in Cameroon, Benin and Madagascar, and the drafting of a technical guide on the electrification of health facilities in rural areas of sub-Saharan Africa.

ARE is looking for an expert in the electrification of healthcare facilities (powered by renewable energy) to read and analyse existing literature, research existing initiatives, conduct interviews with relevant stakeholders and draft the technical guide as well as develop model contracts in August, September, October and November 2023.
