About 18m people without electricity in Kenya – report

There are four times as many people living without power, which locks them into poverty and putting pressure on the government.
About 17.99 million people in Kenya live without electricity out of 138 million people in rural East Africa despite an integrated off-grid solar system in the electrification planning.

KNES targeted 35,000 connections through 121 mini-grids and 1.96 million connections as stand-alone solar home systems.
