Electric mobility isn’t just about transportation anymore—it’s about creating a whole system that’s sustainable and works well with our daily lives. We had a conversation with Olivia Lamenya, General Manager of Ebee Africa, who shared her insights on the evolution of the electric mobility sector in Africa.

Bakeries in Nigeria which use traditional open ovens fuelled by hardwood cut from local forests are contributing to rapid deforestation and climate change, according to a study from academics working in Nigeria and from the University of York and UCL.
The developed world’s industrialisation was not right, it resulted in high carbon emissions. Africa must have a cleaner industrialisation. One of the region’s biggest issues is deforestation because most people need wood and charcoal for cooking. If we can move towards clean cooking, deforestation rates will decline.
Using solar-powered oxygen for children with hypoxemia improves O2 access and mortality in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), according to study findings published in The Lancet.
