SENDEA Uganda: open call for new members

SENDEA is a program of the Stiftung Solarenergie (Germany): a network of like-minded local solar companies in developing countries. The programme serves to strengthen local solar crafts in order to improve the supply of solar energy to the population on the one hand and to promote the creation of jobs on the other.
The solar off-grid industry in Africa is dominated by international manufacturers or distributors. The lack of small and medium enterprises (SME) in developing countries is a significant obstacle: “the missing middle”. SENDEA empowers local SME: Local small and medium enterprises (SME) are the main driver for innovation, poverty reduction, employment generation and social integration.
