The Efficiency for Access Coalition, in collaboration with the United Nations Foundation’s Energy Access Practitioner Network, is undertaking a market research project to better understand the global market of off-grid clean energy system-compatible appliances (“off-grid appliances”).  
It is expected that this research will inform the development of forthcoming Efficiency for Access and Low Energy Inclusive Appliances (LEIA) programme-affiliated market support efforts, and will help market actors throughout the energy access value chain make better informed decisions with regard to off-grid appliances. Specifically, it will help EforA Coalition prioritize technologies for research & R&D investments in the near term.
The survey will be analyzed and published in late 2018 in a format similar to that of the 2017 Global LEAP appliance market survey.

As a contribution to this research, we ask all off-grid energy access and efficiency stakeholders to complete this brief survey to help scope and identify priority product categories in the off-grid appliance market by Friday, July 6. Please access the survey here.
