Sales Executive – Electronics

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Sales Professional with a strong background in the electronic appliances industry in Kenya. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing distributor and dealer networks, and expanding market presence across assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Manage and grow relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and key accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration in Kenya.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs, pricing trends, and competitor activities.
  • Promote electronic appliances through product presentations, demonstrations, and negotiations.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, finance) to ensure smooth order execution and after-sales support.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis on a regular basis.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments in coordination with the accounts team.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events when required.

 

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales within the electronic appliances or consumer electronics industry in Kenya.
  • Strong understanding of the Kenyan electronics market, distribution channels, and retail landscape.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; CRM experience is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Kenya as required.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 3–6 years of relevant sales experience in electronic appliances or related sectors.

 

Preferred Skills

  • Existing dealer/distributor network in Kenya
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Customer-focused and result-oriented mindset
