Job Description

A leading renewable energy firm is growing and as a result are looking to hire a Microgrid Engineering Manager to take ownership of the microgrid department and manage the engineers, processes and overall development of the firm’s microgrid expertise.

Minimum Requirements

• A NDip in Electrical Engineering. An Electrical Engineering degree will be a distinct advantage
• A minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in PV and microgrid design and commissioning
• Experience developing PLC code for both monitoring and control application.
• Practical understanding of generator control and integration with microgrid control.
• Knowledge of the South African Grid Code and implementation of Protection and SCADA in renewable energy plants.
• Professional registration with ECSA will be beneficial.
