Dear subscribers of the Sun-Connect newsletter,

after 15 years, we will be discontinuing our service for the off-grid sector. Since 2010, we have been providing up-to-date information, in-depth analysis, and practical insights for experts and practitioners. What began as a small news platform has grown over the years into one of the leading information sources for decentralized energy.

With weekly articles, news, country insights, as well as job postings, events, and opportunities, we have aimed to serve as a central hub for everyone engaged in off-grid energy across Sub-Saharan Africa. In addition, our library—featuring more than 2,350 documents—has become one of the most comprehensive collections in the sector.

Unfortunately, we no longer have the financial resources to continue operating Sun-Connect. The final newsletter will therefore be published on April 29, 2026. The website will remain accessible until mid-May 2026.
